About Me

Hi! I am A.J. Conrads. I live in beautiful Lake Tahoe with my husband Ted and our 3 little boys. We moved up to Tahoe in 2018 after spending almost 15 years in the Bay Area. Prior to moving up to Tahoe I was a product manager for YouTube and a couple other tech companies. While I loved the design aspect of building new products for consumers to use online, I always dreamed of doing something more creative. I have always loved both interior design and art and am finally trying my hand at both. So… since moving away from the hustle and bustle of the Bay I have been focused on my art and helping people turn their houses into homes.

In my paintings I play with both abstraction and photorealism to draw the viewer into a moment or the feeling of an experience. I love painting kids, adults and dogs playing in nature. Send me your ideas, I would love to bring them to life!

In the spaces I design, first and foremost, I want the space to be a reflection of the family that lives in it. I love making spaces feel personal and unique. To me, this means finding hand made pieces of furniture, incorporating things of sentimental value and really listening to how a family intends to use a space.
